We are excited to announce a contest for the design of the cover for our upcoming textbook, Human Resources Management: A Workplace Wellness Strategy. The winning design will be featured on the cover of the printed textbook and the designer will receive a prize of 300,000 KRW!
Here are the details of the contest:
Eligibility:
The contest is open to anyone over the age of 14
Employees of WellMi Wellness Solutions and DSU and their immediate family members are not eligible to participate.
Submission requirements:
Design must be original and created by the entrant.
Design must be in digital format (JPG, PNG, or PDF) and have a minimum resolution of 300 dpi.
Design must be suitable for printing on a 6" x 9" cover.
Design must include the title of the textbook, "Human Resources Management: A Workplace Wellness Strategy," and the names of the authors, Professor Danny Kessler PhD, Professor Hyung Min Choi PhD, and Laura McLuckie MA.
Design may include additional text or images as long as they are appropriate for the subject matter and audience of the textbook.
Entrant must provide a brief explanation of the concept behind the design and how it reflects the themes of the textbook.
Submission deadline:
Entries must be received by 11:59pm, March 31st 2023. No late entries permitted.
Judging criteria:
Originality and creativity of the design
Suitability for the subject matter and audience of the textbook
Professional quality of the design
Prize:
The winning design will be featured on the cover of the printed textbook.
The designer will receive a prize of 300,000KRW.

Intellectual property:
By entering the contest, entrants grant the publisher, authors, and affiliated institutions the right to use, reproduce, and distribute the winning design in any and all media for any purpose, including the cover of the printed textbook. Entrants retain the copyright to their designs.
Limitation of liability:
The publisher, authors, and affiliated institutions are not responsible for lost, late, misdirected, or incomplete entries, or for any technical or other failures that may prevent an entrant from submitting an entry, nor are they responsible for any errors or omissions in the printing or distribution of the textbook.
Disputes:
By applying for this contest you understand that the judges' decisions are final and no discussion may be entered into regarding the final outcome of the contest. You understand that the final design will be chosen by the authors plus 2 external judges and will be done fairly and without bias.
Privacy:
The publisher and authors will use the personal information provided by entrants for the purpose of administering the contest and will not share it with third parties except as necessary to fulfill the prize.
Governing law:
These terms and conditions and the contest are governed by the laws of South Korea and any legal action arising out of or in connection with the contest must be brought in therein.
